Late Federal Mahogany Veneer Desk/Bookcase, North Shore area Massachusetts, 1820s, the scrolled pediment above the recessed panel doors which open to a one-shelved interior above two smaller similar doors which enclose three small drawers flanking central openings above a lower case with a fold-out felt-lined writing surface over two short drawers and two cupboard doors flanked by similar spiral carved columns ending in turned feet, old refinish, old replaced brass, (veneer cracks, minor warp), ht. 80, wd. at mid-molding 42, dp. 22 in.
