Shaker Handmade Pasteboard Box, Enfield Connecticut Community, late 19th century, rectangular form with hinged dome-top lid, covered in light blue paper with Chinese red heart at the center front and along the edges, the interior fitted with pink paper and green ribbon stops, 2 5/8 x 4 1/8 x 2 1/2 in. Provenance: Clarissa Stowe, a descendant of the Lyman and Copley families, who had members in the Enfield Community; Hazel Hayes Collection; Avis H. Howells Collection.
