Hunting - 1816," Needham, Massachusetts, depicting alphabet panels above an inspirational verse, bordered by a meandering vine with flowers, potted plants, and stars, (minor staining, fading), 16 3/4 x 14 5/8 in., framed. N.B. Affixed to the reverse is a genealogical search on Prudence Hunting and another note stating "This sampler was made by Prudence C. Hunting in 1816. She was the aunt of Effie Rogers Lord, who was Marion Lord Taylor's Grandmother."
