American School, 19th Century Lakeshore Michigan Railroad Station. Unsigned. Graphite and crayon on paper, sight size 15 3/8 x 24 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Toning, a couple of foxmarks. N.B. Affixed to the reverse is a label referring to Chicago's railway system and that the station, designed by W.W. Boyington and located on Van Buren Street, was destroyed by a fire that occurred in October of 1871.
