Queen Anne Carved Cherry High Chest Base, Connecticut, c. 1740-60, the rectangular top with molded surround on a base of two thumb-molded short drawers above a concave fan-carved short drawer and two drawers all flanked by carved rosettes and stop-fluted pilasters continuing to cabriole legs ending in pad feet ending in platforms and joined by a molded valanced apron with two turned drop pendants, old finish, two original brasses, (imperfections), ht. 34 1/4, wd. 40, dp. 20 in.
