Federal Mahogany Glazed Inlaid Desk and Bookcase, probably Southern States, 1790-1810, the veneered pediment is embellished with inlaid floral vines and leaves above the mullioned glazed doors opening to an interior of adjustable beaded shelves, resting on a lower case of a hinged butler's desk with an interior of valanced compartments and small drawers outlined with stringing above a case of three graduated string inlaid drawers on a skirt with inlaid vines and leaves flanked by French feet, old refinish, replaced brasses, (restored), ht. 93 1/2, wd. 40 1/2, dp. 21 1/2 in.
