Swedish, late Gustavian period (1790-1810). A rectangular trumeau mirror or looking glass painted grey blue with patches of gilt wood displayed beneath the painted surface, the crest decorated with carved crossed woodwind instruments centered by a circle tied in a classical ribbon headed by a classical bow over the rectangular glass with carved sight. Approximate height 57.25", width 23", depth 2.5". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Helen Ballard, Atlanta, Georgia.
