Federal Mahogany Inlaid Pembroke Table, probably Portsmouth, New Hampshire, c. 1800, the top with hinged drop leaves and stringing in outline above a skirt with two cockbeaded inlaid drawers (one working, one faux), flanked by book inlays above the square tapered legs outlined with stringing which encloses four teardrops and ends in cuff inlays, (top refinished, imperfections), ht. 28 1/2, wd. 33, dp. 21 in.
