Classical Carved Wood and Gilt Gesso Girandole Mirror, probably England, 1805-15, the recumbent deer on a rocky mound topped by a bough of leaves and acorns flanked by leaves and seed pods, circular molded frame with reeded liner and convex glass with double candlearms above a shell and leaf-carved pendant, regilded, (minor imperfections), ht. 38, wd. 32 in. Note: A label on the reverse reads "Lyphiere Co. successors to D. Marley antiques and articles of vertu, 593 Broadway N.Y."
