Federal Cherry Tilt-top Stand, Massachusetts, 1790-1810, the oval top tilts above the pedestal with urn shaping on cabriole legs ending in arris pad feet, old surface, ht. 26 3/4, wd. 19 1/2, dp. 12 3/4 in. Note: Other items from the 17th and 18th century Morse/Baker/Holmes family of Dedham, Massachusetts accompany this stand. They include nine coin silver spoons, a pair of brass candlesticks, and early 19th century publications as well as a recently recorded family genealogy.
