Five-Piece International Sterling Silver Tea Service, designed by Alphonse LaPaglia, Meriden, Connecticut, 20th century, comprising: teapot, coffeepot, covered sugar bowl, creamer with crown-like finials, and a rectangular two-handled tray, handles similar to the Georg Jensen Blossom pattern, all impressed "INTERNATIONAL STERLING LaPaglia Designed," and numbered, (scratches to tray, and minor wear), 204 gross troy oz. , ht. 3 1/2-8 1/2, tray lg. 24 3/4 in. Alphonse LaPaglia worked for Georg Jensen Inc., USA, producing jewelry "in the Jensen style" and continued many of the same designs while sponsored by the International Silver Company.
