Pair of Display Cabinets, China, probably Ch'ien Lung (1736-1795), pagoda form of octagonal sections, carved and pierced with formalized lotus scrolls, archaic motifs and Ch'iang characters further enhanced with gilt, base with supports in the form of warriors, Buddhist canopies in carved gilt wood as finials, each shelf lined with brocade and fitted with glass panels, (losses), ht. 86 in.
