Eastern European Silver and Stone Set Enameled Box, possibly Hungarian, late 19th century, the oval bowl with domed lid with mushroom finial on domed ovoid foot, set throughout with wirework bordered enameled foliate cartouches, centered with turquoise stained composition beads, and offset by purple stone cabochons, further embellished with fine silver cutcardwork of leafy scrolls and flowerheads, the lid finial with seed pearls, gold washed interior, ht. 4 1/2, lg. 4 in.
