Bisque Socket Head Doll, Germany, early 20th century, blue sleeping eyes, open mouth with four inset teeth, impressed 28 over 117 RB 1 1/4, probably mark of Rempel & Breitung, head has modeling characteristics of Kestner, possibly made by them, old dark blonde human hair wig, fully jointed composition body stamped 1 1/2 in red, also of Kestner mold and coloration, period cotton undergarments, red dress, ht. 17 1/2 in.
