Charles II Beaded Stumpwork Dressing Table Mirror, second half 17th century, rectangular, the central mirror plate flanked right and left by a figure of a lady and a gentleman respectively, likely depicting Charles II and Catherine of Braganza, and with castles above and below, the corners of frame filled with Dutch-style flower-filled urns, caterpillars, flies, and a pair of green parrots, the lady and gentleman accented with silk needlework, the whole on silk ground, with ebonized wood framing, velvet lined easel support to back, (losses), 18 5/8 x 16 in.
