Two Woven Coverlets, one by William Ney (c. 1811-1892), Myerstown, Pennsylvania, mid to late 19th century, the first woven of mauve, olive and gold wool yarns and white cotton, centered with an eight-point star enclosed in floral, fruit, and foliate borders, woven lettering "MADE BY WM. NEY, MYERSTOWN, LEBANON CO. PA.," fringed on three sides, (minor wear, fringe losses), 94 x 80 in., together with an orange wool and white cotton coverlet woven in a geometric pattern, (some bleeding of dye), 84 x 56 in.
