Queen Anne Cherry Carved Scroll-top High Chest of Drawers, Connecticut, mid-18th century, the top section with scrolled cornice terminating in pinwheel carved rosettes above the shell-carved plinth with flanking square plinths all topped by flame-carved turned finials all on flat molding and case of fan-carved thumbmolded short drawer with flanking drawers and four graduated thumbmolded drawers below, set into lower case of long drawers and fan-carved central drawer flanked by drawers all on carved cabriole legs with scrolled returns ending in pad feet joined by a valanced skirt with two turned drop pendants, old brass pulls, refinished, (restored),ht. 83 1/2 wd.,39 1/4, dp. 19 1/2 in.
