Mochaware Hemispherical Bowl, England, early 19th century, creamware bowl with a blue band at the rim above brown, taupe, and white slip marbling further embellished with cobalt and olive dendritic "seaweed" markings, (three faint hairlines off rim), dia. 7 1/8 in. Provenance: Purchased at Bourne, Inc., August, 1979. Exhibitions: Mocha Mania at the Dewitt Wallace Decorative Arts Gallery, Colonial Williamsburg, 1993-94.
