Federal Mahogany Veneer Glazed Desk/Bookcase, possibly Concord, New Hampshire area, c. 1800, the cornice with inlaid banding above the frieze and glazed doors which open to an interior of small drawers and open valanced compartments above a fold-out writing surface, on three cockbeaded graduated drawers and a serpentine veneered skirt flanked by high arched and slightly flaring feet, refinished, replaced brasses, (minor height loss and other imperfections), ht. 61 1/4, wd. 37 3/4, dp. 18 1/2 in.
