Condition: Foxing, toning, not examined out of frame. N.B. The lot is accompanied by two of the artist's sketch books filled with drawings of Southern swampland and vegetation. The lot also includes a copy of The Dwelling Houses of Charleston South Carolina , by Alice R. Huger Smith & D.E. Huger Smith, inscribed and dated "...12 Oct 1917" by the authors as well as a copy of A Charlestonian's Recollections 1846-1913 , by D.E. Huger Smith, dedicated, signed and dated "...Alice R.H. Smith May 15th 1950".
