Pair of Plains Beaded Hide Man's Leggings, c. last quarter 19th century, the yellow stained bat-wing forms fringed along the sides and bottom, the beaded strips with dark blue and white center red triangle and cross devices on a white ground, the flaps decorated with beaded dragonfly and horse track devices, at one time the name "Bear Shield" was beaded onto each flap, (insect damage, bead loss, old repairs), lg. 31 in.
