Three Elaborate Doll Dresses, c. 1890s, a three-piece navy blue wool, taffeta and velvet outfit and an aubergine satin and velvet dress with ecru front panel, both with large leg o'mutton sleeves; a short-sleeved pink party dress with lace trim, all approx. 19 inches, to fit an approximately 25 inch doll. Note: This lot and the following two lots consist of outfits that appear to have been made for "sister" dolls, approximately 25 to 28 inches. OR, at the beginning: The following three lots from one estate appear to be for two "sister" dolls. One is slighter larger; the paired dresses measure approximately 19 and 21 inches long, the dolls would be approximately 25 - 28 inches.
