Pewter Salt Box, Spoon Rack, and Six Spoons, Continental, 18th to 19th century, square form with rounded sides, hinged cover, and shaped back plate with hanging aperture, inscribed on front "M. R./U.R/C.W.M.," ht. 9 1/4, wd. 6 1/2, dp. 5 1/2; the spoon rack with shaped pierced backplate, supporting bracket with vacant slots for spoons, ht. 9 3/4, wd. 7 1/2, dp. 3 5/8; and six spoons, wd. to 8 in. Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.
