Civil War era 1/6th plate ambrotype in hinged case depicting an infantry private from Virginia; accompanied with a signed first edition, hardcover book "Even More Confederate Faces" by William A. Turner, published by Moss Publications, Orange, Virginia, 1983. Book includes an illustration of the ambrotype in this lot on page 165. Ambrotype case measures approximately 3.75" x 3.4".
