Georges Rouault (French, 1871-1958) Dragon Volant, from REINCARNATIONS DU PERE UBU, published in 1932 (Wofsy, 304). Dated and initialed "1928 GR" in the plate l.c. Etching and engraving with aquatint on heavy laid paper with watermark "Ambrose Vollard...," plate size 8 3/8 x 12 1/8 in. (21.5 x 31.5 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 2 3/8 inches or more with deckled edge to all but the top, mat burn, foxing.
