Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes (Spanish, 1746-1828) Chiton, plate 28 from the suite LOS CAPRICHOS probably from the tenth edition or later. Titled and with plate number in the plate. Etching with aquatint on laid paper, plate size 8 1/2 x 6 in. (21.6 x 15.2 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Unpressed crease across the image, folds to margin at upper corners, pale scattered foxing, margins over 1/2 inch (sheet size 12 x 7 3/4 in.).
