Cherrywood Surveyor's Compass, with 6-inch diameter printed compass card divided 0-90 in four quadrants, fleur-de-lis credited Wightman Sculp to North, scrolls to East, needle on brass lifting arm, two carved sight vanes and metal staff-mount, wd. 17 in., (glass cracked) . Note: Thomas Wightman was an English engraver of compass cards for John Trundy (1774-1802) of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
