French, late 19th/ early 20th century. Bronze encased crystal ball form clock suspended from a gilt bronze crescent moon form base. White face is decorated with purple and gold guilloche enamel or metal circular cartouches containing Arabic numerals, with a 60 second clock being at the 6 o'clock place. Alternating purple and white glass rhinestones decorate the bronze case on tondo. Movement marked on back "France", face with retailer's mark "Henry Birks & Sons, Montreal" and "France". Overall 7.75" tall, crystal ball face 3" diameter.
