Antique 18kt Gold, Agate, and Diamond Ring, centered by an agate cameo depicting Christ, surrounded by sixteen old mine-cut diamonds, approx. total wt. 4.00 cts., the shoulders with diamond and ruby bishop's and archbishop's symbols, size 10, (with ring guard). Note: Lots 230 and 232 were purchased in the 1920s from a dealer in Mexican antiques and curios. Correspondence, invoices and speculations concerning the ring's original owner accompany the lot.
