Federal Mahogany and Tiger Maple Veneer Chest of Drawers, Maryland, c. 1815, the rectangular top overhangs a case of four cockbeaded drawers, the top one of which is inlaid with a central oval flanked by two eagle inlaid reserves set in diamond shaped tiger maple paterae outlined in stringing above a shaped skirt with cross banded veneer flanked by flaring French feet, old refinish, (surface imperfections), ht. 44 3/4, wd. 45, dp. 21 in.
