(1781-1850), Two articles, the first a Van Buren signed document, undated, one page, signed on the reverse, to the Governor and Council of New York, answering a petition to put forth the name of John C. Hogeboom as the new sheriff of the county of Columbia, also signed by Philip S. Parker and Daniel Rodman, (good); the second a Johnson signed check, December 14th, 1832, endorsed on the reverse, (cancellation not affecting signature).
