Frost, Robert (1874-1963), Autograph letter signed, October 1, 1935, two pages, to Charles [Connick], concerning a plan for publication of some of his poetry, "The beauty of the plan cut me to the quick like broken glass. Am I to keep the plan or do you need it to work from? It's not at all sure that my king of poetry deserves such a dazzle of color. But what care we for deserts? You are commissioned to go ahead if it takes your last splinter of Sandwich. I'm astray for a few days, but will be back in Amherst by Monday. Ever yours,/Robert Frost/ New York City October 1, 1935," (two toned spots and minor soiling); together with Frost's Christmas Card pamphlet from 1937.
