Federal Mahogany Veneer Bow-front Chest of Drawers, New Hampshire, c. 1810, the top with bow-front and veneered edge overhangs a conforming case of graduated drawers outlined in stringing above inlaid patterning and a serpentine veneered skirt with shaped sides on flaring French feet, the original brasses are impressed with the word "Peace" and an eagle, refinished, (repaired), ht. 36 1/2, wd. 40 1/2, dp. 21 5/8 in. Provenance: Family descent from sea captain Nathaniel Kinsman, Salem, Massachusetts, who was involved in the China Trade; see lot 60.
