Carved Mahogany and Ivory Tall Case Clock Watch Hutch, America, late 18th or early 19th century, the hood with pierced ivory arched fretwork and carved ivory spire finials, molded arched cornice over a carved ivory fan, round aperture containing an engraved dial, flanked by ivory spiral columns; the waist with molded door flanked by gadrooned ivory quarter-columns; the base with inlaid mahogany diamonds and ivory stringing in the shape of a diamond enclosing two ivory hearts, the edges with applied quarter-columns of ivory gadrooning, on shaped bracket feet, (some breaks in the ivory), ht. 14 3/8, wd. 4, dp. 2 1/8 in.
