Federal Cherry Inlaid Tall Case Clock, Abel Hutchins, Concord, New Hampshire, c. 1810, the pierced fretwork joining three finials on reeded plinths above an arched cornice molding and glazed tombstone door enclosing a polychrome and gilt decorated rocking ship dial with second hand inscribed "Abel Hutchins Concord N.H.," brass eight-day weight-driven movement, all flanked by reeded columns on the waist with a molded door and oval panel and with stringing flanked by dart inlay and reeded quarter-columns on the inlaid base over cut-out feet, (imperfections, restored), ht. 89 1/2 in.
