Three Enameled Copper Ship Motif Oval Snuff Boxes, England or France, 18th or 19th century, all depicting three-masted ships, one transfer printed and with inscription reading "A Present from MARGATE"; one with polychrome painted highlights, and motto reading "Britannia rules the Waves," on a light blue ground; the third probably French, late 19th century, with black transfer printed ship, pink enameled box, (wear, painted repairs on first two), ht. 1, dia. 1 5/8, 1 5/8, 1 3/4 in.
