Three Enameled Copper Snuff or Patch Boxes, probably England, late 18th/early 19th century, all with mirrored hinged lids, two oval form with transfer-printed mottoes and designs with handpainted details, one reading "Bind me fast or set me free/Give me love or Liberty," centered with a vignette of a bird flying out of a cage; another reading "O Friendship divine/No Pleasures like thine," and picturing a romantic couple with a cottage in the distance; a yellow enameled rectangular box with transfer decoration depicting an urn, trees, and foliage with a church in the distance and scroll in the foreground reading "Reward for Merit," (wear, small enamel losses, the yellow one with painted repair), ht. 1 1/8, dia. 1 5/8, 1 5/8, 1 1/2 in.
