Glove Case and Three Pairs of Gloves for a Fashionable Doll, c. 1870, case with dropped front and hinged lid with knotted carrying handle in Moroccan red leather stamped in gold Gants de ma Poupee, lined in cream-colored moire silk and paper, decorated metal wrist hook, 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 in.; containing a pair of wrist-length gloves of white kid with edging and trim of lilac leather with lilac stitching, a pair of wrist-length gloves in cream-colored leather with blue top stitching and pinked cuff of cream and pink leather; and a pair of tan kid with blue trim, (minor wear to all), all to fit the same finger length.
