Coat and Accessories for a Bebe Doll, c. 1880, commercially made two-thirds length coat of brown "beaver" plush with twenty-two decorative silk covered buttons and four frogs, round collar, waist-level pockets, pleated and slashed back vent, lined and faced with brown and white silks; reticule of Turkish polychrome silk chain-stitch embroidery and metal bead fringe on a white wool ground (slightly soiled) with white china silk lining; knit cotton mittens.
