Molded Metal Head Milliner's Model Doll, mid-19th century, very unusual metal shoulder head with appearance of papier-mache heads of the era, blue painted eyes, single-stroke eyebrows, black painted hair with crisp wide band of waves to braided bun in back, (light nose rub shows shiny metal), on typical milliner's model kid body with long slender wooden limbs (left arm missing), orange painted slippers, ht. 15 1/2 in.
