Early Huret Bisque Painted Eye Lady Doll, France, c. 1860s, distinctive Huret lidded eyes, painted blue, closed mouth with shaded painting, even coloring, rosy cheeks, unpierced ears (very light speckling on bisque), shoulder head, original blonde skin wig (thin), articulated gutta percha body stamped with Huret Blvd Haussman mark (wear at joints, broken off at right knee), bisque hands, white cotton undergarments and blouse, period red plaid wool dress with black velvet trim, wears watch, jackknife, and a pair of green gloves, ht. 17 in.
