Jones, Ball and Poor Coin Silver Kettle on Stand, Boston, mid 19th century, pear shaped kettle with scalloped rim engraved with acanthus, the domed and reeded lid with further leaves, the final formed as a woman kneeling over a cauliflower, with scrolled swing handle and crabstock serpentine spout, engraved to one side with names and dated 1854, the base with acanthus and shell serpentine legs conjoined by floral garlands, (burner and stand unmarked), full ht. 15 1/2 in., approx. 38 troy oz. total.
