Aesthetic Movement Sterling and Mixed Metal Bowl, New York, 1875-91, in the Japonesque style, the hammered ovoid bowl on flared foot, rims applied with wave edge, the bowl incised with stylized water ripples, and applied with a silver frog seated upon copper lily pad cluster, and with a bee, and a pair of carp, the foot applied with two further carp, one brass, the other silver, foot enclosed at base, marked with pattern number 6919, and order number 3855, ht. 5 1/2, dia. 7 3/4 in., approx. 20 troy oz.
