Michele Cascella (Italian, 1892-1989) Autumn in Central Park Signed, dated and inscribed "Michele Cascella New York 1959" l. l. Oil on canvas, 24 x 36 in. (70.0 x 91.4 cm), framed. Condition: Good. N.B. Cascella was born into a family of artists in Ortona. He exhibited in the Biennale de Venezia in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, and began exhibiting in the United States in 1959, when the work presented here was executed.
