Aldro Thompson Hibbard (American, 1886-1972) Lake Louise Signed "A. T.Hibbard" l.l. Oil on canvas, 30 1/2 x 36 in. (77.5 x 91.5 cm), framed. Condition: Good. Provenance: Purchased from the artist's estate. N.B. Hibbard travelled to Lake Louise on his honeymoon. This painting was one of several Lake Louise views painted on that trip, circa 1926. A very similar composition is published in John L. Cooley's A.T. Hibbard N.A.: Artist in Two Worlds, 1996, page 87.
