Federal Cherry Inlaid Slant-lid Desk, probably western Massachusetts, 1800-10, the lid opens to an interior of five scratchbeaded graduated drawers flanked by two drawers above four compartments above a case of four cockbeaded graduated drawers bordered by mahogany crossbanding on an inlaid cut-out base, brasses appear to be original, refinished, (minor restoration), ht. 44 1/2, wd. 38 3/4, dp. 19 in.
