Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tall Case Clock, probably Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1805, the hood with pierced fretwork joining square plinths topped by brass ball finials above the arched cornice molding above freestanding columns flanking a glazed tombstone string-inlaid door opening to a moon phase polychrome iron dial with seconds hand, calendar aperture, and brass eight-day weight-driven movement, the waist with rectangular molded door inlaid with quarter fans and stringing on conformingly inlaid base and ogee bracket feet, (restoration), ht. 94 3/4 in., including finials.
