Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tall Case Clock, Massachusetts, c. 1810, the hood with pierced fretwork joining inlaid plinths topped by turned urn finials above an arched cove molding and reeded brass stop-fluted columns flanking the tombstone glazed string-inlaid door opening to a polychrome and gilt iron dial with a bird in the arch, floral spandrels, seconds hand, calendar aperture, and a brass eight-day weight-driven movement, the waist with reeded brass stop-fluted quarter column flanking the cockbeaded inlaid door on conformingly inlaid base on bracket feet, refinished, (restored), ht. 91 1/2 in., including finials.
