Chinese, 20th century. Large and heavy carved and stained teak wood animal floor sculpture in the form of a lifesize standing baby elephant with curled upturned trunk above removable wooden cream colored wood tusks and joyful open mouth. Elephant calf standing on all four legs and depicted with small white eyes, textured body and large feet with white nails standing on a shaped base with elongated divots. Unmarked. Approximate height 47.75", width 39.75", depth 13".
