Federal Cherry Inlaid Bowfront Bureau, probably central Massachusetts, c. 1820, the shaped top with elliptical, ovolo corners and checkered inlaid banded edge above a case of four cockbeaded graduated drawers centering bird's-eye maple veneered panels bordered by contrasting stringing and mahogany crossbanding flanked by quarter-engaged ring-turned columns continuing to vase and ring-turned legs joined by a shaped skirt centering an oval mahogany panel, old replaced brasses, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 39 1/2, wd. 39, dp. 22 in.
